Welcome to Country - Senior Leaders' Conference 2016

"Delivering Excellence" Senior Leaders' Conference 2016

Curtin's Senior Leaders’ Conference is a very important part of our annual calendar. It is essential that our senior leadership community comes together on an annual basis to discuss the key challenges facing the university and the sector and to develop plans for our future.

The 2016 Senior Leaders’ Conference has been particularly important, given that we are in the final stages of the development of our 2017-2020 Strategic Plan.

In addition to a focus on the draft 2017-2020 Strategic Plan, the conference included some excellent keynote presentations:

These keynote presentations are available via the links above.

The 2016 Senior Leaders’ Conference was held Thursday 11 August and Friday 12 August at Frasers State Reception Centre, Kings Park.

Case study
“I encourage my staff to attend ODU management and leadership courses. I think they gain valuable practical skills, like using budgets and recognising the extent of their responsibilities. But it also helps them overcome issues of isolation at work as they meet others who experience the same problems.”Professor Andris Stelbovics
