Professional Staff Development

This exciting program provided opportunities for engagement and development of the capabilities of professional, technical, administrative and supervisory staff HEWS 3-8/9.

The benefits of participating in these programs include:

  • Work with like-minded colleagues to strengthen your personal and professional networks at Curtin

  • Build mindfulness within self and of others.

There are a variety of workshops / programs being offered aimed at the following target audiences:

There are a variety of workshops / programs being offered and open to all staff HEWS 3-8/9 including:

  • An introduction to project management
  • Creative thinking in the workplace
  • Do I understand me? [EQ]
  • Mastering the ins and outs of professional writing
  • Office Politics – Managing Up, Down and Sideways
  • Becoming an Influential Leader.

We also have a range of programs aimed at staff aspiring to be or currently in a supervisor, team leader or front line manager role including:    

  • The manager as coach program. This program will commence 2017
  • Introduction to management program. This program will commence in 2017. 

Please note: participants will be notified via email, 2-3 days prior to the workshop of the confirmed venue.
